Gastric Ulcers - Healthy Digestion

Many horses suffer from Gastric Ulcers. Racing and show horses are particularly prone to ulcers due to the stress involved in not only competition but in travel and the change in environment. Studies have shown that between 60 to 90 percent of these competing horses suffer from Gastric Ulcers. It is critical that competition horses maintain healthy weight and eating habits as prepare for physically demanding races and events. Ingredients in SeaBuck Complete have been shown to help prevent gastric ulcers. Several studies on pubmed.com validate this, as does an independent study in which a horse confirmed to have gastric uscers was fed SeaBuck Complete. Training and feeding were unaltered; only SeaBuck Complete was added to their program. At the end of the 60-day period, the horse was shown to have reduced gastric ulcers. The nutrients found in the seabuckthorn berry have been proven to be very beneficial to the delicate yet complex equine digestive system.
