Omega 7 = Healthy Horse

In the past few decades, scientists have researched analyzed and studied the medicinal ingredients found in the sea buckthorn berry.  The health benefits are numerous due to the broad range of nutrients and combinations of nutrients contained in the brilliant orange fruit. One of the most significant findings is the rich amounts of the rare omega-7 fatty acid which is a vital component for cellular support.
What is so impressive about the omega-7 in sea buckthorn is its ability to help moisturize and soothe the sensitive internal organs, in particular the mucous membranes.  Mucous membranes are the lubricated thin layer of tissue that lines the canals, cavities and inside of hollow organs.  They cover the digestive, respiratory and urogenital tracts.   The health of these mucous membranes has a vital effect on overall health.
Consider equine gastric ulcers for a moment.  In general, these ulcers are eroded, irritated and inflamed portions of the mucous membrane that lines the GI tract.  About 80% of horses suffer from ulcers to one degree or another.   These ulcers can cause a discomfort, poor eating habits and diminish a horse’s ability to perform well.
SeaBuck Complete, made from the sea buckthorn berry, helps maintain optimal digestive health and prevents against gastric ulcers.  The omega-7 along with along with many other essential nutrients helps horses look better, feel better and perform better.
